Flying the flag.

A fair number of locks to do today, but a leisurely start once we'd joined the queue of boats going up, which had started at about 7am.

Barbara's flowers were looking especially nice:To help judge the wind direction and provide advance warning of our presence to other boats on bendy bits of canal, I put up a froggy banner: Hopefully it will generate a few smiles along the way (it's already been photographed quite a lot) and helps to brighten the boat, though Barbara's flowers are already doing a good job in that respect.
We did about 17 locks by the end of the day and finished at a pleasant spot near the aqueducts in Market Drayton. It was a glorious evening so we had a gentle stroll around the suburbs and Grove School.
